Hi, Friends! If you haven’t yet made your Memorial Day Weekend plans, don’t worry, it’s not too late! To those of you reading from afar, there’s a lot going on in the Manchester area that weekend to keep you happy and fulfilled. And to my neighbors in the Shires, a staycation is a beautiful option when you live in a place that has so much to offer!

Often viewed as the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day Weekend in Manchester is set to be a memorable launch to the season. The Manchester Business Association (MBA), in collaboration with its members and partners, has been busy planning a special weekend for both locals and visitors.

The Inaugural Manchester Food & Wine Festival is taking place May 22 to May 24, bringing together standout local restaurants, respected national and international winemakers, and Vermont’s own makers, growers, and artisans. The weekend begins on Friday with a VIP Opening Night Event at The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa and culminates on Sunday with the Grand Tasting, the signature event of the weekend. Attendees will sample wines from a diverse lineup of national and international wineries alongside nibbles from beloved local restaurants. In addition, a thoughtfully curated line-up of culinary experiences are all on offer in between these two anchor events!

And don’t forget the annual Memorial Day Weekend Sales, which are back, bigger and better than ever before! From May 22 through May 25, more than 20 Manchester retailers are offering special promotions, limited-time discounts, and exclusive in-store offers. It’s the perfect opportunity to refresh your wardrobe, find one-of-a-kind items, and support local businesses in between exciting culinary experiences!
