Bursts of Color & Joy

Hello, Friends! What a gorgeous, leaf-peeping extravaganza we had this past weekend throughout Southern Vermont! Visitors seeking fall foliage views were not disappointed by all the bursts of color and joy. My colleagues and I took a trip up north on Route 7 to visit Vermont’s only real castle in Proctor, VT (more on that soon in a future issue of The Guide!). On the way back, we couldn’t help but stop by the Sparkle Barn in Wallingford. Its beguiling outdoor mosaics and sculptures beckoned us inside, where we found even more bursts of color and joy!

As we stepped into the lively shop, packed with tourists and locals hunting for unique treasures, welcoming team member Julie gave us a lovely smile. If you’ve never been to the Sparkle Barn, I highly recommend adding it to your “Fun To-Do” list! There are so many beautiful things to look at and discover, including the second level, which is bedecked like a fantastic botanical oasis. I found some cute artisan earrings and took home a complimentary butterfly magnet that now adorns my fridge.

The pictures speak for themselves, but you have to see it in person to get the full sensory experience.
