Hello, Friends! This weekend, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of the United States of America.

As stated on Vermont.gov, “Vermonters played a significant role in the colonists' assertion of independence from Great Britain, from the Green Mountain Boys successful assault at Fort Ticonderoga to the Battle of Hubbardton, and to the Battle of Bennington where Vermont troops helped defeat a British force to set up the victories that turned the war in favor of the new Americans.” 

There is a lot of pride and festivity surrounding Independence Day every year, but this year carries the significance of a milestone anniversary, encouraging all of us to get out and honor the holiday with our friends and families in a meaningful way. Our beautiful region offers much to do.

Manchester’s Fourth of July Celebration

The Town of Manchester and the Manchester Business Association are delighted this year to present Manchester’s Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4 from 5:30pm to 9pm at the Manchester Rec Park. It’s free, festive, and open to all! Bring the whole family to the rec park for live music with the Don’t Leave Band, games, facepainting, a kids’ bike parade, food trucks, a Dunk Tank, fireworks, and more under the Vermont sky.
